Desktop Robot (Screwdriving) Features:
Precise Z-Axis Control
Tightening is accomplished with high accuracy, even on fragile
workpieces (Z-axis drop speed reduces just before screw is tightened).
Loose-Tightening Function
Loose-tightening or full-tightening can be easily selected by means
of a slide switch.
Quality Control Function
Automatically detects stripped, jammed or otherwise incorrectly
tightened screws, as well as screw feeding troubles. When an
incorrectly tightened screw is detected, an alarm is sounded after the
screw is re-loosened, and it is re-tightened correctly.
Minimum Space; Maximum Performance
The footprint of the robot is small:
JR500 : 524 mm(W) x 496 mm(L)
JR750 : 596 mm(W) x 596 mm(L)
Therefore, it can be easily installed in a small space. Operational
range and work space are the greatest among all desktop-type robots.
Easy Teaching
Dialog-style easy teaching with a teaching pendant eliminates the
need for a PC. Block input and Z-fixed input are available for easy
teaching in addition to point-to-point teaching using jog keys.
Large Memory Capacity
One program can consist of up to 2000 points.
Provided with Self-Diagnosis Function
Should there be anything unusual, it is self-diagnosed and a solution
can be implemented in a short time.
RS232C Interface
PC data can be transferred to either model and registered into the
robot with an optional RS Card.
Application 1: Screwdriving
Application 2: PC Board Wire-Cutting
1. Stepping motor controlled Z-axis allows you to cut wires of
different height.
2. Can cut wires even on non-flat PC board.
3. Low-cost blade can be changed easily.
4. Blade cutting point automatically changes for longer blade life.
5. Convenient transparent hopper for catching cut waste.
6. Can cut wires as short as 2.5 mm.
7. Rotary shaft for cutter can be adjusted up to 205 degrees.
8. Large memory capacity (10 programs and 2000 points maximum).
9. If wires are laid regularly, you can use the block input function
for quick programming.
10. Maximum wire diameter 0.4 – 1.2
Application 3: Soldering
1. By attaching a soldering iron, you can do automatic soldering.
2. R-axis (205 degree) can be added as an option.
Application 4: Quality Inspection
1. By attaching a CCD camera or various sensors, you can check the
quality of electronic parts such as PC boards.
2. The Z-axis control enables precise inspection.
