Electro-Mechanical Assembly Press
 The
Electro-Mechanical Assembly Press (EMAP), with integrated sensors,
provides the closed loop feedback system required for accurate
control of assembly operations. Standard features include external
sensing (allows you to assemble and gauge your part in the same
station), fixture/part deflection compensation, signature analysis,
data acquisition, and much more.
We provide a complete assembly press package (not machine). Press
head, motors, amplifiers, multi-axis controller, motion control,
cabling, enclosure, PC, and complete Windows NT software package
(system is ready to be bolted to machine).
As
a user, you will insert your process steps into a prompted field.
Infinite changes can be made on speed, force, distance, time,
turning sensors on and off, measuring, gauging, testing, etc.
Setting parameters around each one of your process steps is
intuitive and will become lockstep to your quality control
requirements. Input multiple part programs for families of parts or
bar code inputs for non-related parts, allowing you to verify that
you have assembled the correct part and have assembled the part
correctly. The system also allows multiple attempts at making a part
good, such as rubber or elastic that move out of tolerance after
being assembled.
We
offer 13 different Electro-Mechanical Assembly Presses in a range of
sizes from 1,000 lbs. to 55,000 lbs. to fit any application. The
system is designed to be maintenance free. Energy efficient, no air
or hydraulic fluids required.
The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Press offers you the most
competitive, accurate, and efficient solution to any assembly
requirement. The EMAP brings you the ability to literally "clone'
your original assembly, then force the system to duplicate, very
precisely, all ongoing production. If for some reason, the system
cannot produce it, an alarm will tell you that you have made a
component outside the desired parameters.
The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Press is used on a wide variety
of applications in many industries. This includes spring assemblies,
control arms, injector nozzles, break away testing, battery
manufacturing, powder metal, and many other applications.
