The new Sheet Seeker is a breakthrough in magnetic sheet separation technology. First, the magnetic circuit is lifted and locked into place for introduction to a stack of steel sheets. Then, once the materials are in place, the sliding magnet is unlocked and automatically centers on the top of the stack and fans the sheet stock. As each sheet is lifted off the stack, the magnet indexes down automatically and will fan to the bottom of the stack.

Permanent Magnetic and Electromagnetic Sheet Fanners

Permanent and Electromagnetic Sheet Fanners are designed to separate steel sheet stock.


As sheets are placed against the sheet fanner, the powerful magnetic field automatically forces the sheets apart and separates them from one another. Manually prying apart sticky, oily sheets is no longer necessary and die damaging double blanking problems are eliminated. Standard permanent fanners are available.


Electromagnetic sheet fanners offer on/off capability and can be controlled to operate simultaneously with other equipment in automated systems. Power supplies are also available for use with these fanners.




Magnetic Pallet Pin Fanners

Magnetic Pallet Pin Fanners have dual functionality! Not only do they act as guides for aligning parts as they come off the blanking lines, but also as magnetic sheet fanners that fan or separate multiple sized or shaped blanks for the manual or automatic loading of a press.

Pin Fanners stay right on the pallet, from the blanking line to the press, without any extra set up! Multiple magnet positions ensure direct contact with the blank for maximum fanning ability, and since they are mounted directly to the pallet, there’s less down time and maintenance on the line.

In response to extensive field use, we have created a second-generation, modularized unit, where the base of the Pin Fanner now has a standard, threaded rod that accepts either a "Hex", "Round", "T-Slot" or custom designed mounting configuration. This allows operators to use the same magnetic Pin Fanners on multiple styles of pallets, by simply switching out the threaded mounting piece.
