Series 2000
 |
Rotary Limit Switches
The Series 2000 Rotary Limit Switches are
primarily used for machine tools, handling devices, and rotary operators
where motion is expressed in shaft rotation. The primary purpose of the
switch is to control the intermediate or end limits of a linear or rotary
motion. The switch is often used as a safety device to protect against
accidental damage to equipment. Available in several different versions
such as the Worm Gear Type, Spur Gear Type, Heavy Duty Type, 2 Circuit Worm
Gear Type, and the 4 Circuit Worm Gear type. |

Rotating Cam Limit Switches
The Series 1980 Micro-Adjust Rotating Cam
Limit Switch is a pilot device used for heavy duty material handling
mechanisms, mechanical presses, packaging machines, rotary table, and in
many other applications where accurate, repetitive, and sequential
operations are required in control circuitry. When motion is expressed in
shaft rotation, either through a roller chain, gear train, or directly, the
Rotating Cam Limit Switch makes it possible to open or close independent
circuits at any desired angular positions. Available in NEMA 1, NEMA 4 &
5, NEMA 7, and NEMA 12. |

Series 1980R
 |
Micro-Adjust Cam/Resolver Combination
The Series 1980R combines a resolver
based signal off of the existing camshaft. Many press operations are now
being fitted with automation equipment that requires limit switch outputs.
While most press control outputs remain unchanged from die to die, the
automation outputs frequently require adjustment. The Series 1980R Cam/Resolver
package provides the safety and reliability of mechanical cams for press
control circuits. The industrial grade resolver supplies the input to a
programmable limit switch that provides the automation other frequently
changed outputs. |

Opto-Cam
The Series 1983 Opto-Cam is a rotating
cam limit switch that uses a photo eye to optically actuate. Used primarily
for applications requiring high speed positioning, up to 3600 RPM, where a
mechanical switch would not be able to function. The Series 1983 Opto-Cam
has 2-40 circuit rotating cam limit switch assemblies with NEMA, 4, 7 and 12
enclosures. It has an AC and DC outputs with 3-amp plug-in opto 22 outputs.
Also a 3” micro-adjust cam for precision settings from 1 ° to 359°.
